Sometimes in the workplace, injuries or accidents can occur. These might include simple falls, lacerations, or more complicated mental health issues.
Doctors working at Hunters Hill Medical Practice are trained to manage such conditions. Simple injuries can often be treated — for example, stitched and dressed — with appropriate follow‑up advice.
Patients are followed until resolution, and appropriate WorkCover certifications (initial/final certificates) are issued when required.
Eligible WorkCover conditions usually require the first appointment to be privately paid; however, follow‑ups may be billed to the insurer once a claim number is obtained.
Hunters Hill practice nurses work onsite in a dedicated, state of the art treatment room. The treatment room is equipped with the latest medical resources and technologies for optimum medical care.
All patients visiting the Treatment Room must have a treating doctor assigned before a nurse can administer any treatment. Except for emergencies, appointments are necessary.
Aside from ancillary medical support services, our nurses can also provide a certain level of emergency and triage care, for non-life-threatening situations.
Hunters Hill Medical Practice conducts a range of workplace and pre‑employment medicals for both manual and office‑based roles, as well as periodic checks.
