Before the Procedure

Before the Procedure

In preparation for the procedure, your doctor will carefully explain what is involved, any potential risks, and preparation if required. Any questions or concerns can be addressed by your doctor.

During the Procedure

Your comfort and safety is a priority. Depending on the type of procedure, you may receive a local anaesthetic to numb the area. Our practice nurses will also be present to support you during the procedure and monitor your vital signs if needed.

After the Procedure

Upon completion of the procedure, you may be provided with after-care instructions or information on follow-on treatment. It is recommended to attend any scheduled follow-up appointments after the procedure to monitor your progress and address any concerns. Our practice nurses can help with wound care and suture and staple removals.

In addition to minor procedures, other services also offered include:

  • Cryotherapy
  • ECGs
  • Spirometry
  • Pathology collection

If you require a minor medical procedure, talk to your GP today – they will explain what is involved, and whether or not it can be done at our practice. We can also provide referrals to other professionals such as specialists or allied health services if that is deemed as the most appropriate option for you.
