Dr Leo Tam first joined Hunters Hill Medical Practice in February 2018 as a registrar. Since then he has completed his GP training and obtained his FRACGP.
Leo graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2014 and completed two years of hospital training at Hornsby, Mona Vale and Neringah Hospitals.
Leo then worked in various general practices across Sydney, including Emu Plains and the Hawkesbury area before settling at Hunters Hill. He greatly enjoys the diversity of general practice.
He has a particular interest in paediatrics, sports medicine and palliative care. He holds a Diploma in Child Health (DCH). He currently consults at St Joseph’s (Joeys) boarding school.
Outside of work, Leo is an avid sports fan and can be found watching (sometimes playing) a game of soccer, basketball or American football.
Dr Leo Tam’s main interests include paediatrics, sports medicine and palliative care.
