Dr Janice Newton graduated from The University of Sydney in 1982. After various postings in Sydney, Hong Kong, India, Tibet and London, she returned to Australia in 1994 and started working at Hunters Hill.
Now, established at Hunters Hill Medical Practice for over 20+ years, Janice has extensive experience and expertise in all aspects of family care, including Women’s Health, Antenatal Shared Care and Aged Care. Dr Newton looks after patients in local nursing homes and admits acute patients to Longueville Private Hospital.
Janice is married with 3 daughters and still occasionally finds the time for a quick game of tennis, reading a good book or researching an exotic travel destination. She is also a Justice of the Peace (JP).
Dr Newton’s particular interests are women’s health and geriatric medicine. Janice also works as part of the Northern Sydney Antenatal Shared Care program.
