Education is a core focus at HHMP. We regularly host medical, nursing, and allied health students, as well as GP registrars, who work and learn alongside our team. Most weeks, patients will meet a trainee gaining valuable hands-on experience in our practice.
Our students and trainees come from universities across Australia and abroad, including the University of Sydney, Macquarie University, University of Newcastle, the Free University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands and HocMai University in Vietnam, amongst others. They may observe or assist in patient care and procedures.
Our reception or medical teams will advise patients if a student will be present during the consultation. Patients may decline and have a private appointment their GP.
